Load tables and other technical information for the hollow slabs
Overview
Pre-stressed hollow core slabs for floors, ceilings and roofs of buildings. Solel Boneh’s precast concrete plant manufactures pre-stressed hollow core slabs 16, 20, 25, 30 and 40 cm-thick. Used to complete ceilings and/or fit the particular shape of a given ceiling, the slabs are custom-made to accommodate any size or angle. The slabs are manufactured using industrial control systems and state-of-the-art technologies, from the raw materials acceptance stage to the delivery of the finished product to the client. All processes are regularly controlled by the plant’s quality assurance system, which has been inspected by the Standards Institution of Israel and certified for ISO

Explanations for the load tables
The PHC slabs’ load tables were prepared in accordance with the requirements of Israeli Standard SI 466, Parts 3 and 5.
Materials
- Type of concrete the plate is made of – B-50.
- The concrete’s strength at the time of release – 35 MPa.
- Type of concrete required for casting – B-30.
Stressing steel
- The stressing strands are T1/2”, or T3/8”, in accordance with IS 1735, Parts 1 and 4, and are of low relaxation.
- 35W” wires, in in accordance with IS 1735, Parts 1, 2 for ???upper plate stressing
Load table
- The load tables feature only useful loads. The weight of the prefabricated element and of the complementary casting, if any, have been taken into account.
- Fire resistance: The 16, 20, 25, 30 and 40 cm-thick hollow core slabs are fire resistant for up to 120 minutes.
